I am a co-founder of British independent production company Catalyst Global Media which launched in 2015 with a mandate to serve as a top-tier creator of original film and television content for worldwide exploitation. In 2020 I launched SonicSight, an independent video games company specialising in developing audio-driven games that naturally lean into Catalyst’s narrative backbone but with a separate, original slate of gaming I.P.
I arrived into the world of games via my background working as a composer, originally for film and television. A classically-trained multi-instrumentalist musician and Masters graduate from the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama, prior to working as a composer I also recorded and performed around the world with artists including UNKLE, Radiohead, Florence Welch, Bat For Lashes, The Cinematic Orchestra and Sixto Rodriguez and as a long term touring and recording member of the LA-based, Grammy-Nominated electronic artist Bonobo.
My first film work came about providing musical arrangements for director Richard Eyre for his Academy Award® nominated film “Notes On A Scandal”, after which I moved into composition for the screen more formally.
There is a signature style to how I work – a self extemporized mix of performance and production – creating a project-specific soundscape and a compelling world of ideas which makes each project very different from the last.
