This one’s a bit of a blast from the past, but it’s an important milestone for me as it gave me my first taste of working for film. At the time of filming I was a working with music with some underprivileged kids in a school in Hackney, London, which is also the setting for the film. When I was approached by director Richard Eyre to carry out some arrangements with the kids for the movie, it wasn’t an opportunity I could pass up!
